How do your backward jewelry auctions work?
Unlike typical auctions where prices go up, the prices at our backward auctions keep getting lower and lower! Prices will continue to drop several times per minute. The first person to buy the item will get it. Once the item is sold, the auction for that item is over and the item is no longer for sale. Do you offer a money-back guarantee on your jewelry?

Do I need to register or log in to buy jewelry?
You do not need to register or log in to buy jewelry on Jewelry Showdown. Simply click the “Buy It” button on any piece of jewelry you’d like to buy. You’ll be taken to a secure order page where you can provide your shipping and credit card information. Once you complete the order page, simply click the “Submit” button. The first person to click the “Submit” button will successfully purchase the item.
Can anyone buy jewelry from your website?
Yes! Jewelry Showdown is open to the public so anyone can buy from our website. You do not need to have a store or business license to buy from us and there is no minimum purchase requirement. You can buy jewelry from us for yourself; as a gift; or to resell!
Can I resell jewelry that I buy from your website?
Yes! You can buy jewelry from us to resell in any manner you want! Our prices drop so low that many of our customers buy from us simply to resell our jewelry for big profits at online auctions, flea markets, gift stores and on their own websites!
Can I copy and use your photos to resell the jewelry I buy?
Yes! You can copy our photos and use them to resell your items provided that you purchased those specific jewelry items exclusively and directly from Jewelry Showdown. Anyone caught using our photos who are not on record for having a valid purchase from us for that specific jewelry item will be in violation of our copyright and can be subject to infringement.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept payment by any of the major debit or credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We currently do not accept PayPal and we do not accept mail in orders using check or money order.
Will my order on Jewelry Showdown be secure?
Absolutely! We use the highest level of SSL encryption security on our website to protect your personal information when ordering so you can feel confident and safe when providing your credit card information!
Is my information kept private?

Can I buy multiple quantities of the same item at the same time?
Unfortunately we are unable to offer this service. Since most of our jewelry comes from closeouts and liquidations, we usually have only one piece of a specific item. Therefore, each item we sell is sold individually. So if you see a piece of jewelry you desire, you should buy it quickly before someone else gets it first.
How are you able to let your jewelry prices drop so low?
The reason why our jewelry prices drop so low is because we specialize in mainly buying jewelry closeouts, factory over-runs and retail store liquidations. We will periodically also buy at special volume discounts from selected jewelry manufacturers, importers and wholesale factories. Because we buy at such reduced prices through closeouts and liquidations, we can then pass these incredible savings on to you by letting our jewelry prices drop well below wholesale!
How low will your prices drop?
Each piece of jewelry we offer is auctioned for a fixed amount of time. The price of each item will continue to drop several times per minute until the item sells or the time runs out. The first person to buy the item will get it. Once the item is sold, the auction for that item is over and the item is no longer for sale.
How low should I let the price drop before I buy?
That is totally up to you and will be based upon how much you desire a particular piece of jewelry along with how much you’re willing to spend. Each item on our backward auctions will begin with an initial starting price. If no one buys the item within the first minute at the full starting price, then the price will drop considerably lower into the wholesale price range. The price will then continue to drop several times a minute until the item sells or time runs out. Remember, the first person to buy the item will get it so don’t wait too long or someone will beat you to it.
What is the starting price and how is it established?
Each piece of jewelry we list is offered at an initial starting price that we set and determine. Our starting prices are established using a retail pricing formula we’ve developed that is consistent on all the jewelry items we offer. Although we feel our starting prices offer realistic good value for the items being sold, we make no claims or warranties that the starting price is the certified appraised or replacement value of the item or the MSRP. With Jewelry Showdown, YOU HAVE TOTAL CONTROL and are free to choose when to buy an item and at what price you want to buy it at! We firmly believe that you won’t find lower prices for quality jewelry anywhere else on the web!
Why have I seen the same piece of jewelry auctioned on several different occasions?
This may be due to the fact that the item didn’t sell during its previous auction or we may have multiple quantities of that particular piece of jewelry. Since most of our jewelry comes from closeouts and liquidations, we usually have only one piece of a particular item. However, we occasionally buy factory overruns and manufacturer wholesale specials which means we may have multiple quantities of some of the jewelry we offer.
Is your jewelry real or imitation?
All of our jewelry is of exceptional quality and beautifully designed. You’ll be proud to own any item we offer! Each piece of jewelry we offer is hand selected and makes a great gift for someone special. We specialize in 10k and 14k solid gold jewelry with genuine and authentic beautiful diamonds. We also carry a wide variety of natural and lab created gemstone jewelry. At times, we may carry a small amount of Cubic Zirconia and costume jewelry as well. A full description is provided on each jewelry item we offer and will clearly explain all the specific details of each piece.
Can I get my ring resized?
Jewelry Showdown does not resize jewelry for online customers. However, you can take your ring or watch to any local jeweler in your area and have it resized or adjusted at a very nominal fee.
How is my jewelry shipped?
The shipping & handling fee listed on each item is for standard delivery to anywhere in the U.S. or Canada. All U.S. and Canadian orders will be shipped at our discretion by a carrier of our choice such as Fed Ex, UPS or USPS (by either Standard Ground, First Class and/or Priority). Upon shipment of your jewelry, an email notification will be sent to you providing complete details on the shipment of your package along with a tracking number if available. We currently do not offer alternate shipping options such as Express or overnight delivery service. Canadian and International customers may be subject to possible custom duties or import taxes when receiving your package. Please consult your local Customs Office if you need information on duties, import fees, regulations and restrictions in receiving and accepting your package.
Can you ship to a P.O. box?
No. We cannot ship to a P.O. box. When purchasing an item, you must provide an actual street address in order for us to ship your jewelry to you. However, we will ship to military P.O. boxes as a courtesy to those brave men and women who serve in our armed forces and protect our country!
How long will it take to get my jewelry?
We usually ship your item within 2-3 business days. U.S. customers usually receive their jewelry within 5-6 days of shipment. How do I check the status of my order?
Once you submit a successful order, you will immediately be emailed a receipt for your purchase. Once your order is shipped within 2-3 business days, you will also be emailed a notice providing you all the shipping details along with a tracking number if available. If a tracking number is provided, you can track your package using that number on the carrier’s website.
Do you stock multiple quantities of each jewelry item you offer?
Not usually. Since much of our inventory comes through closeouts and liquidations, we often have only one piece of each jewelry item we offer. So when you see a piece of jewelry you like, be sure get it quickly before someone beats you to it! Once an item is sold, it is quite possible that we will not be able to offer that same piece of jewelry again.
How often do you get new items?
We get new items almost daily! New items are constantly being added to our inventory and auction rotation so be sure to check back regularly so you can be first to see all our latest and greatest deals!
